Game of the Week

Noodle Soup 116.76 vs. Grown Man's Poop 113.72

It's not often that a GOTW includes a team that received its 5th straight loss, but, here we are. TD's had a shot to win in the Monday night game with two players left to the none that Soup had, and Sony Michel almost made it happen, which would have been prettay freaking ironic for Noodle Soup. Regardless, Soup is firmly entrenched in the upper-middle class suburbs of our league, and this was a close game against a team that's a little down on its luck and maybe has downsized recently. Soup gets a shot at a higher tax bracket* in Week 8.

Hot Takes

- Prime Time is making his move, jumping all the way from 8th to 4th in the Power Ranking, and a 3rd place spot all on his own in the real life standings. Remarkably this happened with Saquan out, who is now back. Week 8 will require some by week gymnastics as Prime takes on Southern Comfort in the first matchup between the two teams in many years.
- I'm sure there's a joke in here somewhere about how we have two teams named after poop right beside each other in the exact middle of the standings, but I'm not seeing it. . .

Friends Fail GIF

the third place team in the Power Ranking is just as close to 8th place in the ranking as they are to 2nd. I don't know what that means**, but it seems statistically significant.

That's all for this Week. Horrible luck to all of you in Week 8.

*Higher tax bracket in the analogy only. We all know that fantasy football commissioner pays VERY well, and I am at least three tax brackets higher.
**Could mean that we have a very competitive league where the middle of the league is really nip and tuck, could mean that our top two got off to great start, it could mean nothing since the Power Rankings, while very advanced, actually have nothing to do at all with the results of our league.
