Hot Takes
- The situation with Bob Bruton is getting real, folks. At one point left for dead,

Bob is officially getting frisky.

After knocking off the previous hottest team in the league, Noodle Soup, Bob finds himself at 4-6 along with Sack Lunch and the Burning Sensations, who are all one game behind the 6th place team, Grown Man's Poop. To make matters more interesting, Bob plays Sack lunch, one of the aforementioned teams in front of him this week, and Bob is favored in the matchup. The Sensations also have a less than desirable matchup against Noodle soup, who is likely still a little ornery, while Grown Man's Poop will square off against Prime Time. It is entirely possible, maybe even likely, that Bob wins again, and all three teams between him and sixth place lose, meaning at this time next week Bob could be tied with only Grown Man's Poop for the last playoff spot. To make matters even more* interesting, if we look ahead to Week 12, Bob draws 11th place show me your TD's, while the Sensations and Sack play each other, and Poop plays Pat McChubby. All of a sudden what once looked impossible is looking more and more like it could happen.
- Pat McChubby is threatening to do something historic. We all know Pat has been laying waste to both the rest of the league, and the feature on the yahoo site that lets you change your team name. What you may not realize is that he is on pace to set the league scoring record that was set just last year by defending champ the Drive by Tuckers. Not only is Pat on pace to set the record, if he keeps this up he will beat it by an average of 12 points per week.**With a win this week, Pat will lock up a first round bye, and will begin to center all of his focus on adding 'reigning best team ever' to his already lengthy resume.
- In addition to Pat's post season implications, a few other teams are closing in on locking something up with 3 weeks left in the regular season.Noodle soup, Antonio Brown Poop and Prime time are all 2 games up on the Burning Sensations, the highest team in the standings that would miss the playoffs today. Soup can likely all but clinch a spot due to the second highest point total in the league, along with keeping alive hopes for a first round bye. A bye is probably not in the cards for Prime and Poop, but surely both would rest easier at night knowing they would have a seat at the post season table.
That's all for this week. Horrible luck to all of you in Week 11.
*No, you used too much bold and italics this week!
**the record is 125.5 points per week, Pat is currently averaging 137.2.
