Game of the Week

Burning Sensations 162.8 vs. Show me your TDs 94.16

Wow, Burning Sensations, that really escalated quickly. The past few weeks all of the attention has been on whether Bob could do the unthinkable and make the post-season, and no one noticed the wily old veteran making his move, and delivering the Stunner to jump 3 teams in the standing and enter the second season.

The Sensations point total was the 4th highest total in the league this season, and this team will look to stay hot heading into a first round game against playoff veteran Grown Man's Poop.

Hot Takes

- First off, thanks to everyone who finished 7 through 12 in the standings this season. We have a great league that is competitive throughout the the season, as evidenced by the fact that our 10th place team finished one game behind the final playoff entry.
- Also, congratulations to all the teams that earned a spot in the Thunder Dome that is the FFFL playoffs. The 13 week grind is over, the second season begins now.

- It really is bonkers that we had FIVE teams finish with identical 6-7 records, with there only being space for 3 in the playoffs. Bob, it was a valiant effort to bounce back this far from a start that would have killed most men. Prime Time, you acclimated yourself well to the league in your first season with us. Having to go to a tiebreaker to see if you made the playoffs in the most elite fantasy football league in the world is nothing to be ashamed of.
- In a sign of the firepower that resides at the top of the league, we narrowly missed the top three teams ALL breaking the records for most points scored in a season, which was set just last season. Noodle Soup was 2.1 points per week away from joining Pat McChubby and Drive by Tuckers in surpassing the previous mark of 125.5 points per week. Pat and DBT have both also met or surpassed the league record for wins in a season, which does include playoffs. If he can close the deal, Pat is closing in on an argument for the the Greatest team ever if he sets a points and wins record.

That's all for this week, we will recap the first round next week, and Terrible luck to all of you.
